| With a weathered guitar and the voice of a peppered badger, Max's music is a spicy departure from the traditional acoustic act. A savory mix of Irish, Blues, Folk, and sharp-witted original songs make for a gourmet entertainment experience. Max's delivery is a full body workout of stomping feet, articulate harmonica work, percussive guitar, and the occasional egg-shaker! Expect Appalachian, Irish, Jamaican, and Blues rhythms seasoned with inspiration from the likes of Tom Waits, The Pogues, Mark Knopfler, J.J. Cale, Lyle Lovett, and Bruce Springsteen and more. Two independntly released albums are currently available. His debut album, "Space Hermit" (2004) and a compilation of original tunes and traditional Irish drinking songs, entitled "Live Music is Best" (2009). A new full-length studio album is expected in the spring of 2011. |

| Spirit Ditch is a unique blend of country, blues and rock n roll, hailing from the high Rocky Mountains of Western Montana. Formed some years ago by two long-time friends Jack and Willie, this duo uses acoustic guitars, minimal percussion, and catchy melodies to create a sound some refer to as “a whiskey drenched blues” or “mud-stompin’” music. With a distinct sound, a small dedicated fan base, and surprisingly loud and energetic live performances, these two young songwriters have found a niche for themselves in a vast landscape of modern blues, folk, country, and rock n roll. So tip back your shot glass and enjoy the timeless sounds of Hurricane Jack and Train Wreck Willie. |
