The Covellite Theater is a 235-seat venue located in Butte, Montana's historic uptown. Only a short distance down hill from the great "Copper Mansion," it was built in 1896 and served as Butte's First Presbyterian Church for more
than 90 years. It's old Gothic-style,
towered structure and beautiful antique stained glass windows attracted the attention of theater owners, who have offered
dramatic shows inside ever since
the theater 1980s.
Most recently, SRO LiVE
purchased it as an important
venue for showcasing the best of Montana's diverse musical talent.
